Understanding the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015
New Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations were introduced on the 6th April 2015. These regulations govern health and safety aspects. You will need to lodge a formal notification if your project lasts longer than 30 working days and has over 20 workers concurrently or over 500 person days. You must also appoint a PD (Principal Designer) as well as a Principal Contractor.
